TOGETHER 4.0 international ceramic symposium.

Together 4.0 Exhibition

2018 brought our 4th ceramic symposium in Budaörs and for the first time we were able to invite international guests. TOGETHER 4.0 ran from 25th June – to 1st July 2018 at the KözTér18 Communal Creation-space. Throughout the week international contemporary artists, university ceramic students and fresh graduates worked together and shared thoughts. The theme of the symposium was: porcelain underglaze cobalt painting.

The results of TOGETHER 4.0 will be exhibited at The Garage – Project space
in autumn 2018.

As Korea is the birthplace of porcelain art, we were honoured to host workshops by Dasom Kim and Moon Chang Seok, calligraphy and traditional Korean painting instructors from the Korean Cultural Centre, Budapest. During our open day we were also honoured to have Tamás Wittinghoff, Budaörs mayor and Lee Dangkweon Director, Korean Cultural Centre, Budapest.

The members of KözTér18 Communal Creation-space are: Kinga Ráthonyi DLA, Neil Wolstenholme, Bence Boleman and Balázs Botos ceramicists. Their work is supported by plaster technician László Márhoffer.

Preparation and assistance of the symposium was also supported by our students from the Illyés Art School, Ceramics Department: Barbara Kirinovits, Emese Kovács, Bence Sztakics, Ádám Lótos.
