Our project and exhibition space THE GARAGE has two double entrance doors, the first lead to our garden, and on the opposite side the second open onto the main street. We wanted to make a sign beside the street facing doors to pronounce the inception of THE GARAGE and for visitors and passers by to notice. Keeping with the spirit of the project space we chose a developmental approach, using concrete to make wall tiles. Each tile has a single letter either impressed or relief spelling out the name and SCICIS Art Mosaic is used as a spacer between. Concrete and SCICIS Art Mosaic are the beauty and the beast of building materials but blended together make magic.
