Dr. Anna Gabriella Balla

Studied ceramics and pottery straight after completing grammar school.
Graduated at upper level in the history & library-studies department at the Dániel Berzsenyi Teacher Training College in Szombathely, and qualified in the history-of-art section of the ELTE Humanities Department.
For more than thirty years she has worked at the Museum of Applied Arts Ceramics and Glass collection, six of those years as its director.
Her specialist area is international and Hungarian history of ceramics from the fifteenth century to the present day. Her research work continues, she also publishes regularly and organises exhibitions.
